Our Process
To give you an idea of the way our process works here is a brief outline for The Complete Package:
There are 5 consults. Each consult (except for the first) has a deliverable (aka us fulfilling our end of the bargain). For example: The second consult's deliverable is the initial logo concepts, while the third consult's deliverable is the completed logo (more details below). In between each consult is what we call the Revision Phase. These phases vary depending on the deliverable. The longest Revision Phase is the final phase which is, of course, the website.
The break down below goes into a lot more detail
- Consult #1 : Initial consult
During this consultation we ask you to provide us with as much information about your company as you possibly can. We'll ask questions like: What industry are you in? How would you like to be portrayed publicly? Do you have any ideas for your logo? This is quite a long consultation because we need to come away with a lot of information. Don't worry, we know how to ask the right questions. - Revision Phase #1 : Logo concepts (3-4 days)
Using all of the information we have gathered from you, we now let our graphic designers work their magic. Over the next 3-4 days they will work to provide you with 6 totally different logo concepts using ideas from the initial consult. Your logo will play a key role in determining your brand's image. - Consult #2 : Logo
Here is our first deliverable to you. During this second meeting we present to you the 6 logo concepts. We discuss what you like about each one, what you dislike about each one and where you would like to go from here with the logos. - Revision Phase #2 : Logo revision (7-10 days)
This phase varies depending on how many revisions we need to do to your logo. The limit on revisions is 3 in order to maintain our 4 week promise. Typically we usually hit the bullseye on the first or second revision, however there are exceptions. Expect to spend about 20-30 minutes of your time every couple days communicating changes you would like to see. - Consult #3 : Business Card & Stationery
Our second deliverable: Your completed logo. It's all yours. We hand over to you the master files and the exclusive permissions for printing. Only you will be able to print your logo. This consultation is primarily focused on your business card. We'll show you some examples of some great card designs with your logo and information on them, and you choose which one is your favorite and tell us what changes you would like to see made to it. - Revision Phase #3 : Stationery revisions (1-2 days)
This revision phase usually doesn't take very long. As soon as you give us instructions on what you would like to see on your business cards, our designers are off to the races. We theme the letterhead, envelopes and Powerpoint templates based on your business cards as to maintain a consistent brand image across all mediums. - Consult #4 : Website
Our third deliverable: Your completed business card and stationery. You won't be receiving your business cards just yet, more on this in the final consultation. The website in this package is created using what is called a Content Management System. This system will allow you to log in from any computer in the world and make changes to your site without having any knowledge of code. For this consultation we ask that you have all of the text you would like to see on your website prepared. If you need a professional copy writer, let us know and we will take care of you. - Revision Phase #4 : Website revisions
This is the longest revision phase, usually taking between 10 and 12 days. Here we will take your ideas and form them into a website layout. We bring the layout back to you, you give us your input and we go make the changes. This continues until you're 100% satisfied, at which point we go and code the back end. - Consult #5 : Final Consult
During this consultation we deliver to you all of your tangible materials (business cards and USB key with video tutorials). We also turn your website live for the world to see. Another thing we like to do is see if you have any questions at all regarding other business services, for instance: toll free numbers, PBX systems, billboard printing, car decals and just about anything else. If we don't do it, we'll find someone who does. That is small business helping small business.
